Presets¶
A preset stores a full patch: every dial and pad value, the pitch settings, the Area Select region, and the audio buffer itself. Loading a preset brings back both the sound settings and the sample.
The preset browser¶
Tap Presets in the top-left of the top bar to open the browser. It has two lists:
- Factory presets ship with the app.
- My Presets are the ones you save.
Tap any row to load it. A checkmark marks the preset that is currently loaded. Close the browser with Done.
Save, delete, rename¶
- Save current… at the top of the browser saves the current patch. You are asked for a name. If the name is already taken, the app adds a suffix so nothing is overwritten.
- To delete one of your presets, swipe its row left in the My Presets list. Factory presets are not deletable.
Step through presets¶
The two chevrons next to the Presets button step to the previous or next preset in the list and load it. The list wraps around at the ends.
Unsaved changes¶
When you change any setting after loading or saving a preset, a * appears after the name in the top bar. It clears when you save again or load another preset.
Import and export audio¶
- Import audio file… in the preset browser opens the iOS file picker so you can load your own audio. You can also drag a file from the Files app straight onto the waveform.
- To export the current grain buffer as a WAV, long-press the waveform and choose Export audio. This is useful after you record a Live capture and want to keep the raw audio. See Recording and Live mode.
